Burris KT-100 52mm Yamaha Piston Kit - The Burris piston for the Yamaha KT-100 is a completely unique design as compared to other makes. The ring location has been moved up the piston to isolate the exhaust flame and reduce expansion. The high silicon content alloy is specially run just for Burris. This alloy has superior strength, minimal expansion and reduced friction properties making it a perfect match for today’s high revving 2-Cycle engines. Additionally, we have a different shape utilizing less cam and taper in the piston which requires slightly more skirt clearance but produces more low end torque without sacrificing top end RPM’s.
